He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Tinsman and Charles Humbert Tinsman; his former wife Carole Shanklin Tinsman; and his brother Humbert. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Haw Tinsman; his children, Jim Tinsman (Ann), Garrett Tinsman (Diane), Bill Wolf-Tinsman (Elissa), Brooke Spencer and Kate Haw; his grandchildren, Jay Tinsman, Christine Tinsman, Chandler Tinsman (Carolina), Bryce Tinsman, Chase Wolf-Tinsman, Story Wolf-Tinsman, Elsie Spencer, Millie Spencer, Henry Haw and Lily Haw; his great grandchild Lucas Deifelt-Tinsman; and his sister-in-law Carol Tinsman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
