He is survived by : his mother Marian Sue Brewer (Krepps); his former life partner Deitra Wichers; his stepchildren, Herb and Fay; his wife Fay Brewer of Smith Center; his children, Trent Brewer (Kelsey Ingalsbe) of Hutchinson, Justin York of Osborne, Chase Brewer of Smith Center and Krista Renz (Justin) of Holcomb; his brothers, Larry Brewer of Smith Center, Scott Brewer (Joleen) of Smith Center and Jeff Brewer (Linda) of Peculiar, MO; his stepsisters, Vonetta Unruh of Greeley, CO and Judi Anderson of Glen Elder; his grandchildren, Sawyer, Emmika and Zayden Renz; and also Trent. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Herbert E. Brewer Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
