Leland E. Baetz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2019, at the age of 91, Leland E. Baetz (Smith Center, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Baetz and Goldie Baetz (Gouldie); his son Larry Duane Baetz; his son-in-law Milo Shellito; his brother-in-law Duane Hawkins; and his nephew Jerry Hawkins.
He is survived by : his children, Russell Eugene, Judith Lynn and Kevin Wayne; his wife Helen Baetz of Smith Center; his children, Russell Baetz (Karen) of Smith Center, Kevin Baetz (Kim) of Smith Center, Sharlyn Shellito of Smith Center and Judith Hyman (Wayne) of Smith Center; and his sisters, Ilene Booten of Kearney, NE, Mildred Daniels of Franklin, NE and Norma Schriner of Holdrege, NE. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church of Smith Center or the Leland E. Baetz Memorial Fund and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
