He was predeceased by : his parents, Anthony Morse and Ida E. Boucher (Lambert); and his siblings, Shirley, Ronnie and Gary.

He is survived by : his wife Lucille Carolyn Eller; his sons, Michael Allen (Dorothy) of Augusta, Jay Morse (Kathy) of Overland Park, Douglass Keith and Doug (Merrie) of Hays; his grandchildren, Jay D. (Brooke) of Claremore, Okla, David (Rachel) of Hoyt, Cassandra Tripoli (William) of Rostraver Township, Penn, Dannie of Smith Center, Kris (Mallory) and Tim (Kelly Burkhart) of Overland Park; his great grandchildren, Brea, Avonelle, Martel, Victoria of Claremore, Okla, Taylor, Claire, Myles of Hoyt and Madison of Salina; and his sister Norma of Greenville, S. C.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In the beginning it was a donation from the company, but after he left the company, he continued to provide the watermelons for many more years.
