Rachel Ilene Favinger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 20, 2022, at the age of 87, Rachel Ilene Favinger of Smith Center, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Tuxhorn and Daisy Tuxhorn; her husband Leonard Favinger; her siblings, Roma Fristoe, Jenny Weaver, Leo Tuxhorn, Walden Tuxhorn, Delmer Lee Tuxhorn, Lyold Favinger, Dean Favinger and Dean Weaver; and her parents-in-law, Sylvester and Inze Favigner (Kelling).
She is survived by : her children, June McElderry (Dennis) of Springfield, MO, Donna Favinger of Smith Center, Mitch Favinger (Yvon) of Smith Center, Jeri Duntz of Wichita and Mike Favinger (DeeAnn) of Wichita; her grandchildren, Shay McElderry of Springfield, MO., Shannon Favinger of Smith Center, Collin Duntz (Jessica) of Wichita, Josh Huggins of Salina, Jeremy Huggins of Jacksonville, FL, Stephen Griffee (Kellie) of Hanover and Grant Griffee (Alysha) of Home, KS; and her great grandchildren, Danica Favinger, Jaxen Duntz, Lucas Duntz, Braddeck Griffee, Jaden Griffee, Laken Griffee, Ryker Griffee and Creed Griffee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be given to Smith Center Health and Rehab and can be sent in care of the mortuary.
