He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis H. Rethorst and Hazel Ott Rethorst; and his siblings, Maurine Gragson, Hazel Lou Herron and Edward.
He is survived by : his wife Lois Newell; his children, David (Starla Rethorst) of Wamego, KS and Susan; his grandchildren, Andi, Chad, Justin and Ashley; and his great grandchildren, Kori, Kyler, Kenzie Beckman, Everly, Chase Rethorst, Payton, Brooks, Maddox Rethorst, Noah and Oliver Hiser.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the family would like to ask that persons attending visitations and funerals at this time to wear masks or other type of facial covering, and to practice social distancing guidelines.
