It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Wayne Jackson (Smith Center, Kansas), who passed away on July 29, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Jackson and Ollie Jackson; his siblings, Warren Arthur, Wilbur Jacob, Eugene Denton, Raymond Leroy Jackson, Erma Aileen Wiley and Dorothy Mae Henry; his son-in-law Val Reed; his grandsons, Nate Graebast, Philip Wayne Webber and Jerry Webber Jr.; and his mothers-in-law, Karen Spaulding and Kristy Loschen.

He is survived by : his uncle Marvin Jackson; his wife Vera Jackson of Rural Athol, KS; his children, Wanetta Mae Webber (Gerald) of Colby, KS, Wanda Marie Reed of Wilcox, NE, Jimmy John Jackson of Franklin, NE, Bernice Rose Iman (Don) of Franklin, NE, Jerry Dewayne Jackson (Terrie) of Franklin, NE, Linda Sue Miner of Kearney, NE and Dawn Ann Haeker (Hal) of Alma, NE; and his sisters, Goldean Drake of Franklin, NE and Shirley Tubbs (Lloyd) of Long Island, KS. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to the Franklin, NE or Smith Center, KS food pantries and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
