It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dona F. Trostle of Soldier, Kansas, born in Cleveland, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Elza Shields and Gladys Shields (Lee); her daughter Terri Sherwood; and her siblings, Betty Evans, Patty Burris, Ronald, Larry and Reggie Shields.

She is survived by : her husband Robert Alvin Trostle; her children, Robert A. Trostle, Jr. (Michele) of Outing, MN, Pamela Holland (Jeffrey) of Pottsboro, TX and Lisa Uhl (George) of Soldier, KS; and her siblings, Connie Lee of Hutchinson, KS, Linda Sheave of Newton, KS and Kent Shields of Cleburne, TX. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
