He is survived by: his daughter Robin (Dan Kolterman); his grandchildren, Keely and Katelynn of Kansas City; his son John Von Bernritter (Suzanne); his grandchildren, Keegan Von and Kyler John of Havensville; and his sister Shirley (Jim Barnes) of Auburn, Kansas..
