She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Melton and Alice Melton (Newport); her former husband George Richardson; and her sisters, Minnie Melton, Norvella Boccia and Rosalee Monroe.
She is survived by: her son Eric G. Richardson (Billie Jo) of Stilwell, KS; her siblings, Arelva Brynds (Ted) of Cherokee, KS and James Melton (Gertrude) of Holden, MO; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan and Justin Richardson.
April Richardson Farruggia 80, of Stilwell, KS died 5:15pm Friday May 9, 2025 at Garden Terrace of Overland Park Nursing Care due to complications of Alzheimer's Disease.
