He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Pfortmiller and Irene Pfortmiller (Hackerott); his spouse Lorine Dale Brunson; his daughter Regina Wood; and his siblings, Arthur, Agnes, Marie and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Hite (Renne) of Alma, NE, Timothy Pfortmiller (Diane) of Lowell, AR, Yolonda Moll (Randy) of Gentry, AR, Phillip Pfortmiller of Stuttgart, KS and Matthew Pfortmiller of Stuttgart, KS. He is also survived by 41 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rogers, AR.
