She was predeceased by : her parents, Wiley Bowen and Esther Bowen; her husband Wayne Nielsen; her siblings, Bill Bowen, Jim Bowen and Armilda Williams; and her grandson Bryan Cole Nielsen.
She is survived by : her close friend Ruth Humburg Schwerdfeger; her friend Gene; her sons, Gary Nielsen (Judy) of Syracuse, Douglas Nielsen (Denise) of Pueblo and Thomas Nielsen (Grethal) of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren, Jessica Blais (Tim), Morgan Nielsen, Ashley Scheibler (Ky), Brock Nielsen, Deric Nielsen, Marcus Nielsen, Hazel Arafol, Joshua Arafol and Erica Nielsen; her great grandchildren, Alexis, Madeline, Kaylee and Addison; and also Jack.
