With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laverne Leota Kern of Tonganoxie, Kansas, who passed away on November 29, 2021 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laverne Leota Kern to pay them a last tribute.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Henry Middendorf and Leota Middendorf (Bischdorf); and her children, Michael Kern (Phyllis) of Kansas City, MO, Greg Kern (Jackie) of Lebanon, KY, John Kern (Debbie) of Springfield, MO, Claudia Conkin (Johnny) of Friendswood, TX, Kathleen Graveman (William) and Linda Burke (Bernard). She was also cherished by 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her name are suggested to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church building fund.
