He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Carol (Dan Gurba) of Leawood, Rick (Cathy Hewett) of Arlington Heights and Linda (Ron Kurtz) of Topeka, Kansas.; his grandchildren, Katharine Gurba (Brad Bakker), Christopher Gurba (Rima Poddar), Tijiana Gurba (Lewis Paul Aines), Emily Gruendel Grace (Caleb White), Madelynn Kurtz and Morgan Kurtz; and his great grandchild Marion Prestia.
