He is survived by: his parents, Joseph Stein (Chuck) and Sharon Stein (Heincker); his former wife Theresa Todd; his wife Jill Disney; his children, Nick Stein (Andrea), Lindsay Stein, Kayley Stein (Kasey) and Chris Todd; his grandchildren, Daron, Paisley and Aubrielle; and his siblings, Susan Stein-Burris, Charles Stein (Christy) and Mike Stein.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be directed to The American Heart Association.
