He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary C. Holek (Laskowski) and Joseph "Joe"; and his brother Robert "Bob" Holek. He is survived by: his wife Diana Holek; his children, Jeffrey "Jeff" Holek of Pheonix, AZ, Joseph "Joey" Holek (Heather), Jennifer "Jen" Sparks (Jason) and Rebecca "Becky" Holek of Overland Park, KS; his sisters, Patricia Carver (Bob) of Kansas City, KS and Betty Barnes-Mosiman (Roger) of Hollywood, FL; and his grandchildren, Allyson Sparks (Ally), Caidance Sparks (Caidy), Jaylynn Sparks (Jay) and Aubrey Holek.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Prayer Service Quisenberry Funeral Home (604 E 4th St, Tonganoxie, KS 66086). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the Good Shepherd Hospice, Olathe, KS.
