We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2018, at the age of 91, Donald Spencer Rickel (Topeka, Kansas), born in Hoyt, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughters, Cheryl Ribordy and Donna Ellis; his grandson Matthew Debenham; and his brothers, Roland, Charles and George Rickel.

He is survived by: his parents, Dennis Rickel and Harriet Rickel (Woodhead); his spouse Mary E. Kessinger; and his daughter Kathleen Hopeck. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
