It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ione M. Owens of Topeka, Kansas, born in San Mateo, California, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fae Erickson and Mertice Erickson (Bauer); her spouse Delmon Owens; her grandchildren, Dustin Adams, Delmon Humbert and Angela Willis; and her great grandchild Trenton Jones.
She is survived by: her former husband Wayne Adams; her children, Ricky Adams, Keith Adams, Michael Owens, Joyce Rutschmann, Sherry Culbertson, Peggy Humbert, Brenda Owens, Lynnette Owens and Deann Owens; and her sisters, Dona Lee Cook, Cynthia McDowell, Thelma Sausa and Fern "Candy" Quichoch. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Davidson Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
