He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Wolf and Geneva Arnold; his adoptive father Forrest R. Wilkes; his wife Phyllis Brown; his children, Kimberly Ragan (Charles) of Texas, K. David Wilkes (Erin) of Texas and Joseph Wilkes (Nicole) of Texas; his stepsons, Joshua Gentry of Topeka, Paul Gumpher of Topeka, LeRoy Gumpher, III of Jacksonville, FL and Steven Gumpher, Sr. (Kim) of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Aubrey, Frances, Riley, Jade, Lindsey, Brandon, Natalie and Katherine of Steven, JR.; and his daughter-in-law Laura Wilkes.
