She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Elkins and Hazel Tucker Elkins; and her children, Adrienne Williams, Alisa Peppers, Alvin Peppers, Charles Peppers, Taletha and Dante Peppers.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Pepper; her children, Atterol "Terry" Peppers-Griffie (Howard), Aaron L. Peppers, Cheryl J. Peppers, Darryl L. Peppers, James E. Peppers, Renita Y. Peppers and Dana L. Peppers; and her stepson Clarence Stevens (Janis). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
