She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Victor and Sarah Ellen Souza (Paresa); her spouse Jimmie D. Vaughn; her daughter Kimberly Michaela Haunani Shephard; and her sister Myra L. Souza.
She is survived by: her daughter Dawn Lee Kuulei (George); her grandchildren, Josh Lee Channing of Missouri, Logan Dawn Shepherd of Emporia, Sarah M. Martinez of St. Charles and Ryan Michelle Shepherd of Emporia; and her great grandchildren, Caiden Nohea Shepherd and Bentley Wade Shephard.
