It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerolene Cornell of Towanda, Kansas, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Emond and Esther Emond (Blair); and her brother Bob Emond of Augusta. She is survived by: her husband Jack; her children, Stan Cornell of El Dorado, Darrin Cornell (Angela) of Augusta and Cindy Tapphorn (David) of Great Bend; and her siblings, Bill Emond of Wichita and Mary George (Jack) of Valley Center. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
