We are sad to announce that on May 31, 2020, at the age of 90, Elaine Murphy Adams of Troy, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Riley Murphy and Nellie Murphy (Large); her husband James W. Adams, Sr.; her son James W. Adams, Jr.; and her siblings, Paul, Gordon Murphy and Agnes Pearl Murphy.

She is survived by : her children, Steve Adams (Christine) of Troy, Rodney Dwain Adams of Creighton, Karen Wetmore (Dale) of Troy, Sharon Handley (Larry) of Troy and Deborah Shelton (Leslie) of Troy. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
