He was predeceased by : his parents, Riley Murphy and Nellie Murphy (Large); and his siblings, Agnes Pearl Murphy and Paul Murphy. He is survived by : his spouse Phyllis Clary; his children, John David Murphy and Mark Murphy; his grandchildren, Brandy Flores, Erin Murphy, Katelyn Murphy and Trevor Sell; his great grandchildren, Olivia Riley Flores, Brooks Flores and Jack Gordon Horn; and his sister Elaine Adams of Troy.
