With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Steven Hegarty of Troy, Kansas, born in Atchison, Kansas, who passed away on February 5, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick L. Hegarty and Lillian Hegarty (Hampl); his brother Pat "PJ" Hegarty; and his sister-in-law Julie Hegarty. He is survived by : his wife Terri Winkel; his children, Danny King, Leslie Suba (John) and Thomas Hegarty; his grandchildren, Ashlyn King, Tyler King and LeAnna Suba; and his siblings, Vic Hegarty of Atchison, Kansas., Sheila Boos (Larry) of Atchison, Kansas., Mary Perkins (Joe) of Atchison, Kansas. and Tim Hegarty (Teresa) of Atchison, Kansas.. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
