It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Faith Schiffner of Ulysses, Kansas, born in Alva, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 22, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Willie Eckels (Earl) and Helen Genevieve Eckels (Arndt); her boyfriend Paul Leon Schiffner; her siblings, Stanley, Johnny, Earl Eckels and Stella Melton; and her great grandchild Matthew Goodman.

She is survived by : her children, Danny Paul Schiffner (Margaret) of Ft. Worth, Lyndel Gene Schiffner (Gwenna) of Wichita, Kansas and Karen Diane Young (Guy Howell) of Milford, Kansas; her siblings, Leroy Eckels of Los Angeles, California, Viola Roso of Ft. Worth, Sylvia Burris of Bowie, Louella Elmendorf (Patrick) of Hilltop Lakes and Revenna Grimes (Charles) of Ulysses, Kansas; her sister-in-law Cathy Eckels of Ft. Worth, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jared Schiffner of Grand Lake, Zane Schiffner (Kelly) of Fruita, Garrett Schiffner of Lansing, Bridget Kirk (Doug) of Andale, Samuel Schiffner (Nikia) of Moses Lake, Misti Young (John) of Wichita, Charlene Sawyer of Hays and Earl Goodman of Wichita, Kansas. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.
