It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charlie McGinnis (Wakeeney, Kansas), who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Charlie McGinnis to show support.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife JoAnn Bollig; his parents, Lewis Swingle and Ruby Swingle; his son Mike McGinnis (Verla) of Ransom; his grandchildren, Michelle Dinges (Zach) of Topeka, Jessica Greer (Ken) of Manhattan, Kelli Atkins (Tommy) of Hill City, Marshall McGinnis (Shannon) of Lawrence and Troy Walt of Morland; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Naomi Dinges, Thayn, Evan, Parker, Ivy Walt, Owen, Collin and Clare McGinnis.

Memorial contributions may be given to the remodeling projects of Christ the King Catholic Church or Trego County Lemke Memorial Hospital. Donations may be sent to Schmitt Funeral Home, 336 N. 12th St. WaKeeney, Kansas 67672.
