He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Llamual and Rebecca Inez Sammons (Lamb); and his brother Howard Sammons. He is survived by: his sons, Ivan Sammons (Kathey) of Parsons and Danny Sammons of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Tanna Figura, Levi Sammons, Nakisha Jacquinot, Jacob Sammons and Joshua Sammons; and his sister Julia Ledbetter of New Mexico. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
