It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvern Dufur of Waverly, Kansas, born in Kingman, Kansas, who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard Dufur and Edna Dufur (Rutledge); his children, Jody and Jason; and his sisters, Juanita Davis and Mary Stratton.

He is survived by : his wife Brenda; his children, Melody Dufur of Wichita, KS and Eric Dufur (Katie) of Olathe, KS; his grandsons, Ethan of Olathe, KS, Lukas of Olathe, KS and Connor Dufur of Olathe, KS; and his sister Carolyn Randel (Bill).
