It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis Jean Anderson of Wellington, Kansas, who passed away on April 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William E. Biery and Ruby Louise Biery (Chartier); her husband Don Anderson; her grandson Jeffrey McGovern; and her siblings, Lena Cyr, Wilfred Biery and Jeremiah "Bud" Biery.

She is survived by : her children, Jody Anderson (Jim McGovern) of Lawrence, Kansas, Dana Anderson (Beverly) of Wellington, Kansas and Dane Anderson of Andover, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jenna Bedwell (Ryan), Jamie McGovern (Will Sharp), Laura Spencer (Drew) and Danielle Beltz (Kyle); and her great great grandchildren, Harrison, Camden Spencer, Lydia, Michaela Bedwell and Margot Sharp.

She continued to work through the worst of the Covid pandemic, retiring in the fall of 2022 as she turned 94.

A memorial has been established in her loving memory to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund and the Eisenhower Elementary Library Fund.
