He was predeceased by : his parents, Edgar Salsbury and Dorothy Hilderbrand Salsbury; his wife Along; and his brother Gerald Salsbury. He is survived by : his son Daniel Salsbury of Huntsville, Ark.; his brother David Salsbury (Denise) of Wellsville; and his stepdaughter Tamara Perkins (Roger) of Newton. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren; and one step-great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Caring Hands Humane Society of Newton.
