It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence E. Lyon of Wellsville, Kansas, born in Richmond, Kansas, who passed away on January 20, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Wiesner and Emma Wiesner (Roeckers); her son Richard Lyon; and her siblings, Alfred Wiesner, Thelma Cummings and Sister Emerentia Wiesner.
She is survived by : her husband Elden Lyon; her children, Robert Lyon (Sally) of Fresno, CA, Marge Humphrey (Craig) of Lee's Summit, MO, Steve Lyon (Erin) and Larry Lyon (Marianne) of Chaska, MN; and her siblings, Marion Regier of Newton, KS, Velma O'Brian of Bakersville, CA, John Wiesner (Mitzi) of Garnett, KS, Rose Haynes (Fred) of Lane, KS and Frances DeJarnett (Elroy) of Bedford, TX. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
