With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Elizabeth Bowden (Wellsville, Kansas), born in Jackson, Missouri, who passed away on July 27, 2018 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Vaughn and Zella E. Vaughn (Finch); her brothers, Robert Vaughn, Howard Vaughn and Edward Vaughn; her sons, Arthel Wayne and Kenneth Earl; and her grandson Joshua Bowden.
She is survived by: her spouse Robert E. Bowden; her children, Shirley Wiles, James Wiles of Silver City, NM, Carried Scott, Bob Scott of Wellsville, Mary Franks, Ron Franks of Spring Hill, Connie Westgate of Wellsville and Robert Bowden of Wellsville; her daughter-in-law Holly Bowden of Ottawa; and her brother Carl Vaughn of Wellsville. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
