She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Zickel and Farron Arlene Zickel (McBride); and her brother Derald Zickel. She is survived by : her husband David Michael Smith; her children, Travis Smith of Wellsville, Meagan (Darrell Walker) of Olathe and Jimmy Smith (Angie) of Tonganoxie; her grandchildren, Keyara, Michael, Karson Smith, Paija Walker, Trevor, Tyler, Tate, Tidus, Tesslyn, Tayalynn and Tiaralynn Smith; her sister Phyllis; her brother-in-law Mike Holtwick of Wellsville; her brother Larry; her sister-in-law Jessie Zickel; her sister Peggy; her brother-in-law Darrel Earps of Texas; her brother David; her sister-in-law Jackie Zickel of Overland Park, KS; her sister Teresa; her brother-in-law Russell Bloodsworth of Iowa; her sister Leslie; and her brother-in-law Don Brown of Wellsville, KS. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
