It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Rose Sexson of Weskan, Kansas, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Rose Sexson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Keefe and Mary Keefe; her husband Iley Austin Sexson; and her grandson John Henry Sexson. She is survived by: her children, David Sexson (Bonnie) of Weskan, Jean Kreger (Leland) of Kanorado, KS, Bill Sexson (Teresa) of Wichita, KS, Richard Sexson (Kay Ann) of Cheyenne Wells, CO, Gloria Leitner (Ren) of Longmont, CO and Faith Rayl (Michael) of Longmont, CO; and also, Dorothy, Daniel, Mike and Barry. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter; 8 step grandchildren and 19 step great-grandchildren.

The milestone celebration of her 90th birthday took place during the COVID pandemic.

Memorial contributions may be made out to the Holy Ghost Catholic Church or to the Wallace County Amusement Association and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.

“Aunt Evelyn was such a wonderful Lady. She was always fun to be around and had a great sense of humor. She had so much pride for her family and loved them so much. My Mother (Dorothy Fasching), Evelyn's Sister, always had such high praise for Evelyn and loved her as much as all her Siblings. It is sad to see the last of the Keefe Siblings pass but it comforts me to believe they are all reunited with each other and their Parents and Husbands and Wives. Rest in heavenly Peace Aunt Evelyn.”
