He was predeceased by: his wife Helen; his daughter Nancy; and his brother John. He is survived by: his children, Suzanne Hayosh (Bill) of Shelby Township, MI and James Achten (Susan) of Wetmore, KS; his son-in-law Robert Stimac (Rose) of Seneca, KS; and his brother Kenneth Achten (Betty) of Redding, CA. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
