She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Chalmer and Gladys Elizabeth Manes (Whigham); her husband Charles Leonard Spencer; and her sisters, Maxown Bates and Mona Lea Manes.

She is survived by : her sons, Chuck Spencer (Ellen) of Potwin, Robert Spencer of Andover and Roger Spencer (Liz) of Andover; and her grandchildren, Darci Bascombe (Ben), Stephanie Tempongko (Emil), Jenny Chisam (Will), Teva, Shawn, Alyssa, Adrian and Aja Spencer.
