He was predeceased by: his wife Ida; his parents, Frank I Flax and Catherine Flax; his stepmother Clara Weber; and his siblings, Minnie Flax, Catherine Flax, Rosie Hicks (Walter), Agnes Richmeier (Edwin), Albertina Fehrenbach (Frank), Virginia Weber Robinette (Danny), Paul Flax (Dolores), Gilbert Flax (Seraphine) and Leonard (Dorothy Weber).
He is survived by: his children, Connie, Frank, Robert, Jerome and Anthony; and his stepbrother George Weber (Charlotte) of Wichita. He is also survived by 7 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209). A rosary will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anne Catholic Church (2801 S Seneca St, Wichita, KS 67217). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
