She was predeceased by: her parents, W. S. Best and Bertha L. Best; and her brothers, Bill A. Best and Jackie Howard Best. She is survived by: her husband Carl D. Gordon; her children, Miles W. Thompson Wichita (Cindy) and Gaia R. Priddle Wichita (Jeff); her stepchildren, Carrie Gordon Earll Springs (Steve) of Colorado and Chris C. Gordon Wichita (Kelly); her grandchildren, Elease Thompson, Scott Thompson, Peter Gordon (Nora), Aspen Gordon, Elijah Gordon, Noah Gordon, Torin Priddle (Kassandra) and Briana Priddle; and her great grandchild Dean Gordon.
A memorial has been established with the Harry Hines Hospice.
