He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Cleveland Smith and Emily Francis Smith (Kowing); and his wife Myrna Kay Stone. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Scott Smith (Ruby Ho) and Gregory Lee Smith; his grandchildren, Emily Ann Smith (Christine Streid), Alex Russell Smith (Kelsey King) and Bo Tran; and his sister Priscilla June Thompson. He is also survived by many neighbors and very good friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, donations may be left in the care of the Shelley Family Funeral Home of Winfield – 803 Loomis St. Winfield, KS 67156.
