She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Thorington and Wilsonia Thorington (Shields); her husband Ray Swafford; her son Timothy Alan Manners; and her stepson Dale Swafford.
She is survived by: her former husband Kenneth Manners; her children, Daniel Manners (Amy) and Candace Manners (Gary Schrag); her stepdaughter Mary Toben (Mark); and her grandchildren, Luke Manners (Erica), Molly Coomes (Craig) and Samuel Manners (Carrie). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
