It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Lucille Mahon (Wichita, Kansas), who passed away on September 19, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles E. Knowles; her spouse J. J. Mahon; and her sister Linda S. Taylor (Knowles). She is survived by: her mother Sonya R. Knowles (Finley); her son Joshua D. Mahon; her siblings, Sonda Lock (John), Chuck Knowles (Janis) and Vern Knowles; and her pets, Pixie and Buddy. She is also survived by 11 nieces & nephews; many great nieces & nephews.
Along with sewing, she enjoyed also making face masks for family, friends, and nurses during the horrible COVID period.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial in Lucy's name may be designated to Starkey Inc., 4500 W. Maple Street, Wichita, Kansas 67209 or to Immanuel Baptist Church, 1415 S. Topeka Street, Wichita, Kansas 67211.
