She was predeceased by: her parents, Elva Irene Burkhart Kinkaid and George Edmond Thomas; her husband Gerald Nulik; her brother Earl Thomas (Susie); and her brother-in-law Jerry Bates.

She is survived by: her son James Carter (Orasa); her stepchildren, Gayla Clay (David), Karla Lytle, Doug Nulik (Julie) and Tanya Steadman (Larry); and her siblings, Edmond Thomas (Karen) and Irene Bates. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren.
