She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelbert Pete and Bertha Marie Reid (Fisher); her husband William G. Mahalic; and her daughter Melissa Mahalic Travis. She is survived by: her children, Mark Mahalic (Becky) and Margo Lynn Mahalic; her grandchildren, Amanda Bruce (Clinton), Cody Argood (Sophia Teeter) and Harley Davidson (Stephanie); and her great grandchildren, Brianna Bruce and Gabriella Davidson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209).
