It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Marie Van Gieson formerly of Wichita, Kansas, born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Merrifield and Fern Merrifield. She is survived by: her husband Herbert Van Gieson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as friends.

A memorial has been established with the First Unitarian Universalist Church, 7202 E. 21st, Wichita, KS 67206.
