It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ann Harrod (Ashland, Kansas), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Bowling and Iva Bowling (Sawyers); her husband Chuck; her brother-in-law Les Harrod; her uncle Phil Johnston; and her siblings, Melvin, Charles Ocie, Gordon, Margie, Betty, Elaine and Darlene.
She is survived by: her sister Karen Maris of Ashland; her sons, Gordon (Michelle) of Wichita and Greg of Monterey; her grandson Eric; her aunt Ann Johnston; and her in-laws, Lauren, Maggie Harrod of Yates Center and Cheryl Harrod of Lawrence. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
