It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Dale Thornburg of Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on September 28, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis E. Thornburg and Beulah F. Thornburg (Morrison) of Wichita; his significant other Ann; his daughter Carol Sue Benoit; his son-in-law Joseph I. Mikesell; and his siblings, Wayne, Herschel and Wilma Fraley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Mikesell and Deborah McDonald; his grandchildren, Joseph D. Mikesell (Jennifer), Joshua Mikesell, Angela Harrell (Brent), Megan McDonald, Matthew Benoit and Kaitlyn Benoit; and his great grandchildren, Kelsey, Cole, Zachary, Morgan, Gunnar, Brantlee and Colborn.
