He was predeceased by: his parents, John George and Juanita "Johnnie" Lorraine Sumner Reichert; his son Randolfh "Randy" Kirk Reichert; his brother John "Gary" George Reichert, III; and his nephew Richard Reichert.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Edith "Edie" Wareing Reichert; his daughter Laura Lynn; his sister Sherry Foster; his sister-in-law Anita Wareing; his nephews, Dale Coons, John and Wade; his grandson Aaron Ashe; and his great grandchild Caden Danger Smith Ashe.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Kansas Humane Society located at 3313 N Hillside St, Wichita, KS 67219.
