We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, at the age of 86, Lavada Fay Rothe (Wichita, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Sammie L. Rothe; her siblings, Loveanna Rolland (Jack) and Gary Ray; and her children-in-law, Lloyd Kelly and Sandy Rothe.

She is survived by : her brother Larry Ray (Karen); her sister-in-law Molly Ray; and her children, Sam Rothe (Jeannie), Lana Tillotson (Terry), Lisa Wake (Rod) and Steve Rothe. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Resthaven Mortuary (11800 US-54, Wichita, KS 67209). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Believers Southern Baptist Church (13909 W 21st St, Wichita, KS 67235).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to: The Oxford Grand Senior Living & Memory Care and Believers Southern Baptist Church.
