He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Friesen (Nickle) and Leonard Friesen; and his brothers, James Friesen (Jim), Larry Friesen and David Friesen.
He is survived by: his wife Joye G. Friesen (Owston) of Hutchinson, KS; his daughter Joelle Stephens (Friesen) of Overland Park, KS; and his granddaughters, Reagan and Alexa Stephens.
